Postdoctoral Fellow Willcox Research Group
Stefanos earned his Ph.D. in Computational Mechanics from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, in 2024. His research has explored computational material modeling, with a focus on composite materials, multiscale finite element methods, and the use of uncertainty quantification and Bayesian parameter identification in constitutive modeling. He has also investigated machine learning approaches for data-driven material models and methods for addressing computational challenges in multiscale analysis. In February 2025, Stefanos joined the Oden Institute to work with Prof. Karen Willcox. Currently, he is particularly interested in the development of probabilistic digital twins for simulation-driven data assimilation and predictive modeling.
